my cousins are much brighter than I am, better people than me
so why aren't they farther along in life?
how did I luck out?

@professionalbigot69 half my cousins are basically independently wealthy from their own investments and half are broke with kids out of wedlock. I think one of them has kids from multiple women even. older kids did great, younger ones got fucked. girls doing much better than the boys of course

I'm not wealthy but at least I didn't start a broken home so I guess I'm in the middle of the pack

@professionalbigot69 none of them come from a broken home, I don't think anyone in my parents' generation in the entire extended family got divorced or were widowed or anything. nobody I can think of

but my grandparents' generation was pretty poor so I guess the poor ones are retvrning to tradition

@professionalbigot69 I mean the reality is way worse innit. guys having kids with chicks who live halfway across the country because they can't keep their dicks in their pants, working shitty blue collar jobs with no future because they didn't finish college (wasted their parents' money)
