And to get something like that passed takes about 2 years of concerted lobbying. But the French government never manages to last more than about a year and a half. So they never manage to pass anything. It's bliss.

@PraxisOfEvil It's not the unemployment which is scary, it's the underemployment. Nobody is reaching their potential. Guys who could be solving problems are flipping burgers and playing factorio.

when a business increases efficiency, they often reduce effectiveness, particularly in the soft, social sense. imagine a hotel replacing their doorman with an automatic sensor. sure itās cheaper, but you lose all the other ancillary things a doorman brings. the personal touch, shooing vagrants, helping with groceries, etc. what you gain in efficiency is more than lost with the loss of that human touch.
Personally, I like to add the North Carolina Red Pepper Vinegar as a basting sauce, and also directly into the pulled pork.
