making the economy more viable stills helps our guys even if he's not a crusader for the cause otherwise
Is the economic theory about more immigrants and growth totally wrong? I live in a rust belt area, all old people, zero growth, zero opportunity. Yeah I'd rather not move in a million indians... but we need young people or there's no economic production going on and it's just decay and retirees guarding their setups. Me personally I'd say spend government cash on white people, but we know trump's not doing that.
I'm in favor of kicking wall street's ass tbh. But we're also not in the same situation as 1950. We have a global market to compete with now not one destroyed by ww2. We don't have a big empty frontier to develop. Building new stuff generated more jobs than repairing old things does. We don't have anywhere to expand into, we're out of frontier. The only choice really is hostile takeover and take resources away from the legacy interests monopolizing them.

I do think the illegal immigration problem amounts to slave labor and undercuts middle class wages. So we do need to force big business to pay workers here an American wage and therefore disqualify all foreign slave labor.
