Firstly, co ops are more scalable than government or private schools. In the co ops I know of, at least one parent of each kid must participate in the co op in some role (usually teaching a class).
Secondly, the classes can still be small if the co ops has 200 kids in it. My co op I went to as a kid had maybe 120 kids or so IIRC and had maybe 7 kids in all my classes. Scaling up, that’s probably about 12 kids per class in a 200 kid co op.
And stop forcing kids to go to school.

Seriously though, I had some fun at school but as an institution it is basically just ensuring we practice human failure in childhood adequately enough to make sure it definitely happens in adulthood.
