Corporations five years from now wondering where the customers went after they replaced 90% of their employees with AI
@threalist Around here most people buy the absolute cheapest, regardless of quality, so the corporations that are going to be gone are those that do not avail themselves of efficiencies that AI can bring them.
There's not even anything I really want to buy these days. The only innovation being done is in AI and tracking technology.
That's fine, but if 90% of jobs are replaced with AI as a result, who will have income to buy those cheap products?

@threalist They said exactly the same thing about the steam engine, which was the reason for my historical reference. People could not see the new things that it would make possible and the new jobs those things create, same is going to be true for AI.
