But (almost) everyone is trapped in thinking that there are only two options and they have to vote for "the lesser of two evils" which means the two evils remain the dominant force which leads back to the first thing I said in an vicious cycle.

And also, there's still that minority of people who vote for a third party or independent, the people who don't vote at all, and the people who aren't informed enough to know that they're both bad.
