The 996 working hour system (Chinese: 996工作制) is a work schedule practiced by some companies in China.
And the government appears to be cracking down on it as well
Doesn't a strong work ethic (that may be an understatement but I can't think of a better term) exist in other Asian countries as well, such as Japan?
