$0 IS the minimum wage.

It's what you're paid when you have no job because nobody can legally hire you at the price they're able to pay for what you offer.

Also communists never change.

Envy is the root of all communism

What do you think about scaling social burdens by corporation size?

Example:

Hourly minimums don't apply to small business or mid size companies, but Amazon and Walmart have an hourly minimum plus localized cost of living adjustment.

Generally speaking, progressive regulation is a great idea. Large corporations are the ones who are at risk of using dirty tricks to depress wages, which is a case where minimum wages CAN have an impact. That said, it's such a difficult balancing act to hit the right number that it's probably better to approach the problem somehow else.

But YES, billion dollar corps should NOT be treated exactly the same as mom and pop corner stores.

@threalist @cjd just a gut reaction: I think if a company receives federal money (subsidies, contracts, etc) this approach might balance things out a little bit.

I think if a company receives federal money, they, ... shouldn't.

Fuck federal money, that's the whole reason we're in this mess :(
