Absolute and total freedom is incoherent and undesirable. So liberty IMO is about balance.
Property rights are one way of achieving that balance.

If there's a reason for there to be a one-world government, then sure. If there's a few one-country and a few multi-country planets in the universe, then sure. But I hate when it's just assumed that every planet has a single government.

I really hate the one world government trope in science fiction.

It would be great if there were as many countries as there are sets of values, but unfortunately land is not infinite.
