@Bonsai Probably referring to "people" like Peter Singer
@Bonsai @Diceynes @gnarley_boot and also the sort of extreme hate and lies in https://norwoodzero.net/objects/10db8e4e-f786-481d-8602-e4aef465a4db
@Bonsai @Diceynes @gnarley_boot I mean the sort of racism that wants to annihilate, subjugate, and/or otherwise oppress other races. Just wanting to be with people who are like you is different.
@Diceynes @gnarley_boot I'm not saying it's false necessarily, but deepfakes are getting pretty good and there are lots of people out there with agendas.
Just be careful, and don't let your emotions cloud your judgement.
Then again, the pro-Palestinian side might not have as much computing power as the pro-Israel side so maybe any deepfakes they make won't be as believable.
Idk how much middle-Eastern Muslim countries invest in such things. I wouldn't put it past Israel; I've seen a lot of reporting about them trying to influence the West and also using AI to decide who to kill (look up Lavender)

@Diceynes @gnarley_boot There is a movement in that direction sadly. But hopefully the supreme court will strike it down for being against the first amendment
@Diceynes @gnarley_boot What's wrong with that? What's in a name?

@Diceynes Basically I crossed it out and put "Jewish supremacist" instead because I thought "Zionist" wasn't strong enough. Etymologically it's "Zion" (Jewish homeland) plus "ist" (one who believes in), i.e. "one who believes in a Jewish homeland". It doesn't properly convey how they act.
I don't think there's anything wrong per se with wanting a Jewish (or white or black or any other group) homeland, so long as it doesn't step on the toes of other groups that are not Jewish/whatever. That's another reason why I prefer the term "Jewish supremacist"

@Diceynes @gnarley_boot That is a culturally accepted meaning of a strikethrough. Maybe you don't understand this because you don't live in an anglophone country.
@Diceynes @gnarley_boot You are just determined to interpret everything I say in the worst possible light, aren't you?
@Diceynes @gnarley_boot Well, I've heard that the original Zionism had a place for Palestinians, but I haven't read the original book about it so I don't know what sort of a "place" that was. Could have been a lesser one. We just don't know.
@Diceynes @gnarley_boot That's what I'm saying. It means "Zionists, no, Jewish supremacists would be a better word"
@cy @Photorat @BalooUriza Are the Proud Boys Nazis? I heard they were "Western chauvinists". I.e. for them, it's about culture, not race
@nicholas @cy @Photorat @BalooUriza I actually support the right of communities to make their own decisions about stuff like this.
In my ideal world, a Jewish community would be able to kick out people who want them dead and they'd have to go somewhere they are more welcome, or at least tolerated.

@gnarley_boot @Diceynes Kill all racists. That includes both you and zionists Jewish supremacists
