Predator of cinnamon rolls

@strypey @redrozalia @violetmadder Oh. Nvm. I didn't click on the link. I'll read that.

@strypey @redrozalia @violetmadder Wait, both fascists and antifascists “recognise they are losing”? Who are they losing to? Unless you meant that they merely believe they are losing.

Weird that I got what seemed to be withdrawal symptoms just now. I hadn't changed anything about my medication that could have caused that.

@lain Where did you see that BTW?

@lednaBM There was also a bit about other guinea pigs standing around the "squeaker" and listening

@lain That was unironically what some cultures' conception of liberty was. I'm thinking of the Puritans in America but there were probably more.

@lednaBM I remember reading in a book about guinea pigs their supposed religious practices (standing on their hind limbs and squeaking)

@j I don't know why you find that funny. Are you and your instance that interesting that you think everyone is always paying attention to what goes on there?

@chris So far the video looks confused. He's not recognizing the change in meaning of the word "liberalism".

@chris And not everything that's normal is good.

@chris But not everything called fascist is normal.

@MnemosyneSinger I wonder how any single use Twitter accounts there are that are just abandoned after they've done the joke like @OwlLouisiana

@condret @mangeurdenuage Only cave paintings are good

See https://arcanican.is/primer/ap-decentralization.php and https://docs.polycentric.io/ and #Nostr

@lowqualityfacts @diazona They usually have a rules page at /about or /about/more

@ins0mniak @a7 Have you tried comparing it to email?

@strypey If you have enough computing power you can become “aristocracy”. But yeah, that’s not as good as just needing an RPi.

But also, the most common experience on fediverse is not running your own server, it’s using someone else’s. Blockchains usually have techniques to give normal users more autonomy using cryptography.

That being said, it’s possible to have signatures etc on a federated network. Polycentric is one example, so is @silverpill@mitra.social’s work on fediverse standards.

@a7 @ins0mniak Yeah, I think I remember an experience like that, lol. Can't remember if I was involved or a bystander.
