@molytov @catdad Where does that meme format come from?

I fucking hate the amount of normies on the internet. And by "normies" I'm including anons. They have the same mindset.

@lizzy
I think I have a solution to the tension between negative and positive liberty, or at least to the problem expressed in the story in that article about the tobacco-addicted car driver. I was talking about it to @gabriel over XMPP a while ago.

Legally enforceable promises to yourself, like contracts, where you can, say, be helped to hold yourself to something like i.e. not doing drugs/alcohol/tobacco, or anything else you think is bad for you.

Maybe this is already a thing. Idk.

I'll read this later. But I'll just say that I was thinking of negative freedom (I think).

I'm not thinking of left-right stuff. I want an news outlet that cares about civil liberties such as free speech, free culture, free software, privacy, etc, etc. That's orthogonal to whether you are "left" or "right" (I'm not even sure what that means outside of economics).
Economic liberty is something I am curious about, also.

Gonna just disable my voice typing keyboard. It's too annoying to correct it's inevitable errors.

>In quantum physics, there is the concept of quantum entanglement: two particles can be entangled and remain linked, even if they are later separated by great distance. Einstein was famously uncomfortable with this idea, calling it “spooky action at a distance.”

Not true, he used "spooky action at a distance" to refer to something else IIRC.

@thatbrickster ground news seems to focus on the left-right spectrum and not the other spectrums that one can divide politics into

Does anyone know of any outlets that cover UK news with a libertarian bent?

@mischievoustomato because you suck

@m0xee @nicholas @softwarepagan @toiletpaper @lizzy What does "black people" mean then. Who do Ukrainian (and Russian) neo-Nazis hate?

@nicholas @softwarepagan @toiletpaper @lizzy But they have a Jewish president. So it can't be that bad.

>Putin was trolling about the Nazis
So we have powerful politicians capable of great violence trolling about the justifications for that violence? Fucking great.

@admitsWrongIfProven Are the neo-Nazi homeschoolers at risk of taking over the country?
