I love the consumer choice model of moderation (and that's a mostly good term for it, thanks). I think we should have more of it. I.e. by implementing a filter system for posts on the fediverse. Maybe kind of like Usenet's kill files, or email's Sieve language (need to look into that more).
I would love to be able to - as a user - autocw all posts and/or autospoiler all pictures from certain users or instances. And I'd love to be able to see the posts of certain users while rejecting the rest of their instance (say, if I think they are the only or one of the few good users on said instance).
How can we make this happen?

@lucy @grumbulon @waifu @georgia I don't follow you because I've had enough of that side of fedi that thinks they're so much better than "mastodongers" because they are comfortable living in verbal filth every time they go online (not saying mastodon users are perfect; you guys are right that some of them are overly sensitive; but there's a balance like there is with everything) and better than "normies" despite being just as obsessed with sex and drugs and other boring things (a little bit of that is okay; like I said: balance; but I can't stand people's "kinks" and disgusting fetishes)
