Predator of cinnamon rolls

@vitt2tsnoc Is society actually macho and patriarchal and rape-trivialising though?

The only people I've met like that were obscure online vermin.

@strypey Nostr relays aren't like fedi servers. They don't communicate with each other. Users communicate with a bunch of them directly.
https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nostr/

@strypey Nostr people do a similar thing with paid relays. Because (so the theory goes) it deters spam to have to pay for the privilege of posting.

@strypey Other people can start relays too with the same intention. And if they're gatekept against annoying crypto spammers (or whoever else you don't like) posting to them, then you have what you want.

@strypey Yes, just start a relay.

Why is it called Pittsburgh's Word Fighters then?

Guess I'm a homo tranny now
Anonymous:

Just came up with some new sexuality terms.

Homogendered = Having the same gender as your biological sex.
Heterogendered = Having a different gender from your biological sex.

Transsexual = Having a sexual attraction to the opposite sex
Cissexual = Having a sexual attraction to the same sex

Therefore
Heterosexual Cisgender = Homogendered Transexual
Homosexual Transgender = Heterogendered Cissexual Spread the word.

How Decentralized Is Bluesky Really? https://dustycloud.org/blog/how-decentralized-is-bluesky/

A technical deep-dive, since people have been asking me for my thoughts. I'll expand a bit on some of the key points here in a thread. 🧵

And a lot of that material came from translations of Arabic translations by Muslims of philosophical texts written in Ancient Greek, which brings us full circle.

She thinks the enlightenment was a product of Christinanity in denial of the fact that it was actually the revival of classical Paganism and the vast diversity of thought and belief intrinsic to it which inspired the enlightenment, etc.

There are a lot of theories on that, it seems. David Graeber and Wengrow believed that it resulted from a native American critique of European culture.

My aunt got me his book on it last Christmas (or Yule if you prefer ;).

I believe the enlightenment started in Europe before the US was founded, didn't it?

>Not to mention the statements of the founding fathers themselves.
Which statements are you referring to?

@Maxtimot They'd probably use them to force-fem people and threaten people into using preferred pronouns so kill yourself

@GluedToTheScreen WHO said this...
...and why do you CARE?

@thatbrickster A lot of the things she complains about (not the violence obviously) are Muslims exercising their freedom of speech though, which is inconsistent.

Either she needs to figure out a way to let them say what they want without "subverting Western society", or she needs to drop her advocacy of free speech.

Or am I missing something?

@sun @condret There’s that Ripple thing that @jeffcliff likes. But I think that’s centralised. This paper may interest you. I’m not an expert on this stuff. I’m just providing links so you can DYOR.

@sun @condret You could try a mutual credit system
