Something going on at home is company business and you can be reprimanded on the job for that. The things you're allowed to do are also selected by the company and run by the company and everything is set up to make you feel like if you take a job you'll get to do all these fun things but when you get there you're working and sleeping and nothing else. If you wank off in the shower, your boss might learn about it and give you shit. If you're with your friends, the conversation must always be SFW because you're on company property. If you see a girl you like she's off-limits because you're at work.

I'd agree that an effectively unlimited copyright like we have now has no justification since nobody is making stuff so that some megacorp can make an extra 17 cents 80 years from now, but giving people a decade or so to profit off their works before giving it to the public does have some sense behind it.

@pluralistic I don't know what we need to happen to have smart folks like you start engaging critical thinking skills again. News outlets run by megacorps aren't your friend. They're pretending to be your friend so they can push their own agenda, and that agenda is directly counter to yours.

@jeffcliff @11112011 there's nothing stopping you from moving around cryptos right now, but that's already changing. The bans that we're seeing, The increased regulatory scrutiny that we're seeing, It's not over. The wall we're driving towards is the one where the bubble pops and people start demanding that the government "do something". At that point you might as well be using Fiat for what they're about to do.
