Advocate for freedom and tolerance even if you say things I do not like

Adversary of Fediblock

Accept that I'll probably say something you don't like and I'll give you the same benefit, and maybe we can find some truth about the world.

Ah... Is the Alliteration clever or stupid? Don't answer that, I sort of know the answer already...

@sizzletron Huh. I thought they liked cognitive decline.

@wjmaggos I gotta admit, the whole "viruses don't exist" thing was a new one when the pandemic started.

I'm the first to say "Question Everything", but you got to eventually accept that certain things just fit with everything we know and experience.

@Djeep That's great! Just imagine: They couldn't get people before, and now they fired most of their staff!

@Jdogg247 My wife has a dietary condition where too much sugar is really bad. If she has too much sugar, she gets really really sick, immediately.

My mom made a cake for her, and said "Don't worry! It's sugar free!". My wife had one bite and immediately got really sick from sugar.

When we told her about it, my mom said "Well I really liked baking it for you"

It's like.... You aren't living in reality, are you?

@intengineering Nice to see that they sometimes cave to something that isn't pure unadulterated evil.

Trudeau: "We're sorry we forced you to go to school!"

Also Trudeau: "Now we are going to force you to take this experimental shot"

I'm sure history will judge you well, you absolute wanker.

@AlexJones I can never unsee this meme when someone tries to do the two wolves thing.

@hn100 Absolutely true.

It makes sense when you look at previous research that shows that artificial sweeteners cause the body to produce insulin, which drives down blood sugars which makes people fatter and hungrier.

@mcread I'm surprised how few search engines got it on searx.

@whiteman_ (it's cute, but I bet 99% of loads of laundry have both whites and colors. It's fine as long as you're not using bleach)

@cyberanathema it isn't me, because I've got my family trained, unlike this noob.

@RekietaLaw I notice that you weren’t banned on the fediverse, but you were banned on twitter.

🤔

@graf Because it works.

@Parnikkapore We have a solid difference of opinion on this.

The problem with authoritarianism is that it will never be exactly what you want it to be, that's the nature of authority. The only way you can really want it is if you assume what you want is the only authority that will be exercised.

You agree with it this week, how about next week when they go a step too far, or a week after when someone you hate is in power and they use the power you ceded to do things you find reprehensible?

Freedom is the only choice for people who recognise they can't trust authority to act in their best interest over the long term. Then you don't need to care about the exact whims of the individuals in power.

@djsumdog @jeremiah @georgia I loved BeOS. I hope Haiku becomes usable someday.

@Madcucks @d @ArdanianRight @Jdogg247 I can get behind this, but I think he should take out the entire house of representatives while he's at it. Full gunpowder plot, nobody would ever see it coming.

@lain tbf, consider this: You don't need to worry about supply lines, they carry 6 months worth of rations with them at all times!

Getting so close now -- The cover design for my book is set up, ISBN is reserved for the paperback edition, the first draft was copy edited and we did the second pass, I've got one more revision in one of the touchier essays and we'll be on track to publish before the end of the month. I didn't realize that part of the publishing process is going to be adding my book to the library archives of Canada!

Really exciting!

@Hyolobrika My instance is open and our only rule is that I'm not your dad.

I don't think I'm widely blocked, largely because I don't have a lot of users.
