The first corporations were created by governments and were massive and amoral. Nothing changed over time. At the end of the day, someone needs to be responsible for the actions of the legal construct, and if nobody is then the legal construct will do irresponsible things, naturally.

@wjmaggos @billblake2018 one radical policy that I advocate for is repealing all laws allowing the creation of limited liability corporations. If you own a company and they do something reprehensible, you should be personally responsible.

@sloppyhog Hydroelectric is very robust, but greenies hate the tech because it works and isn't perpetually 5-10 years from being "there". Manitoba and Quebec Canada have ridiculously cold winters, and many homes are solely heated with electric because of the cheap electricity.

@argo Problem with the fact checks is that they're self-evidently fake so often that I can't trust them anymore.
So many "fact checks" start with "while it is true that [insert claim here]..." that these companies should be cutting their stomachs open to try to preserve what little honor they have left.
