Depends what you're trying to do. For the most part, during day to day business it doesn't come up. You can do most important stuff from the gui, and most of that stuff has guardrails like you'd expect from a modern gui.
I think it's even simpler than that. Most people just use a web browser these days. Chrome on windows and Chrome on linux really aren't that different.
But windows is good enough most of the time, and you'd have to go out of your way to get linux, so of course only a small minority of people will use it.
Personally, I have two computers I use, one for gaming and one for the road, and the gaming laptop is windows of course, and the laptop for the road is linux because it supports the older hardware a lot better. Still just have brave, discord, element, and vlc open.
