Been bringing the server up and down a lot lately to do various things to improve performance, but man has it ever been paying off. I know it's monday night so there isn't a lot going on with federation, but still... That's an absurd load number!
One thing I noticed with friendica is that it takes forever to do federation since it's doing it all with php on a cron job (as I recall, I could be wrong since it's been a couple years), whereas other platforms use native code to handle federation.
Not a problem if you're not federating much or you have plenty of hardware, but at the time I was using not nearly enough hardware for the job and I love federating with new instances.

And I like a lot of what Peterson has had to say over the years, but that doesn't mean he's not seriously out to lunch on a lot of stuff, and it definitely doesn't mean he's not hilarious in unflattering ways at times.

Imagine if any of the gun owners had brought their guns! We sure are lucky that right wing authoritarians are catastrophically stupid and came with the intent to violently overthrow the government but didn't bring the one thing that might have let them do so.

Definitely seems like it could reduce the cost of development, but at the cost of the number of software developers hired for different projects.
Of course, there's also the concern I have that an overreliance on AI could lead to a mass stagnation, since the AI doesn't actually create anything unique or insightful, it relies on previous work exclusively so if we have fewer humans driving the state of the art forward it might just find a spot and stay there...
