Advocate for freedom and tolerance even if you say things I do not like

Adversary of Fediblock

Accept that I'll probably say something you don't like and I'll give you the same benefit, and maybe we can find some truth about the world.

Ah... Is the Alliteration clever or stupid? Don't answer that, I sort of know the answer already...

I met a kid named Greg with a wooden leg
Turns out he always wanted to get pegged

I still occasionally see it, and I still see people advocating that we should all be wearing masks. The covid is not over hashtag is a recurring thing.

I've been on YouTube premium for several years now, I'm happy to say that my son has almost never seen an advertisement. So while it may not apply to every single website that you go to, you are correct that for a lot of the most important ones you can just toss them a couple bucks and get the rich person's experience LOL

People terrified by the teevee.

Anybody who is still wearing a mask has made their stance loud and clear: "I'm indoctrinated and will fear whatever an important man in a suit tells me to fear on the teevee"

It's sort of funny just as adblock is becoming less effective, I'm retreating into spaces that I know don't have ads because I run the websites.

I'd love to meet Clint sometime. He seems like a really cool guy (for an old computer nerd like me)

The thing that absolutely blows me away is they actively and openly manipulated everything, and people are sitting there acting as if they can trust the data as gospel.

Just as what you said, when you want to know if a thing is going to work for a purpose, you don't take it on faith, you don't accept the manufacturer's data, you test it and a shocking amount of the time he discovered that the manufacturer was not telling the truth.

Title: "no, X is not true"

Body text: "while it is true that X..."

Yerba Mate tastes like brewed cigarette butts.

I feel like that kid was hired to do a white monkey job. You just sit there and gawk at whatever the actual scientists do in the lab in Shenzhen

One of the dangerous things about relying too much on one specific test, sometimes that test might not actually tell you reality.

Considering the pettiness I'm sure you experienced running wolfballs, that's pretty impressive.

I've never used mastodon. Does it block entire domains including all subdomains rather than specific hosts?

Should automatically be a 1984 suit for anyone who it happened to.

I was pleasantly surprised to see my wild raspberries ripening. It's really amazing eating food grown 20 feet away.

Moments like this are why you need to think into the future. You're not fighting just for yourself, but for the future generations who will be born into the next golden age if only you prepare them for it.

We're at the end of a secular cycle, power is centralizing, the common man is being wiped out, the upper classes that aren't at the tippy top are playing musical chairs with a shrinking pie.

They say that social media makes people depressed. But how can anyone feel depressed after seeing this?

Maybe. I know Ford's conservatives in Ontario were just as bad as anyone else during the pandemic.

ngl, I think the huge PPC vote helped get Poilievre into the head spot of the Conservatives. Considering they didn't get a single seat and sat in fifth place in terms of popular vote, that's an outsized impact.

Poilievre is imperfect too, but he's a hell of a lot better than the last 2 leaders of the conservative party.
