Pretty funny to think the event is cancelled because they ran out of water because it rained in the desert.
Fight for your lives anywhere other than dating sites.
I don't care how old you are, dating sites are bad for you unless you're in the top 0.1%, and the data proves it.

Mushoku Tensei is in the crosshairs of many because a lot of people attack the main character for being total garbage.
I don't know how you have a story about a terrible person becoming better without having a terrible person at the beginning...
I read the LN, and in like the first chapter the MC says something like "What's wrong with skipping your parents funeral to fap to poli lorn?" and at that point it's like "ok, this guy isn't a good guy", and the story is in part a redemption arc, this terrible ugly bastard of a hentai protaganist learning to stop being a terrible person.
The sort of people who are attacking this are responsible for every TV show in the west looking like a Christian film. The good people are insanely good at all times, the evil people are always insanely evil at all times, and there's no character movement, just preaching at the audience. And it's totally insufferable.
What's really neat about the series is that characters change and grow for real. Many of the people who appear to be one thing over time and experiences become much different people. You can't really predict who the characters become over time since their stories are stories and not archetypes.

Trump talks a good authoritarian game, but his actions were anything but.
Most US presidents throughout history would have ended the Summer of Love riots with real bullets. Especially once they started attacking the White House.

Climate change insanity is just an accounting trick. Instead of making stuff here, we just move all the manufacturing to China and let them burn the coal, then pat ourselves on the back for all the carbon we're not emitting, while simultaneously just importing all the energy intensive stuff from asia.
Apparently one of the cable networks in the US is no longer carrying Disney owned channels because Disney insists on selling a bunch of channels in a bundle that include channels the cable companies don't want.
I find that pretty ironic.

I'm afraid that the contagion has only spread. My home country of Soviet Canuckistan is a good example.
I've actually conceived of "machine empathy" as a skill. It's like, you can consider how a machine "thinks" and come up with some idea of why it's doing the thing it's doing.
My grandmother was completely blind. Wonderful woman, even poast would have liked her. Never touched a computer because of course she didn't. She was completely blind.
Disregard interviews. There's a pile of the tools of the trade, do this thing and show me you can do it.
99/100 applicants fail immediately.

It seems to me that that's one of the fictions people use to justify going to the big cities, the alleys are paved with opportunities. This seems to me a repudiation of that idea.
Just imagine, you can go somewhere that has more jobs per person, and cheaper housing, and they don't hate you there.
