Advocate for freedom and tolerance even if you say things I do not like

Adversary of Fediblock

Accept that I'll probably say something you don't like and I'll give you the same benefit, and maybe we can find some truth about the world.

Ah... Is the Alliteration clever or stupid? Don't answer that, I sort of know the answer already...

Sometimes the worst part is when you expect something to be super complicated but it's actually super simple.

"Where is your God now?"

I had no idea!

(Congrats on having on helluva full feed haha)

There's a cap?

I just found lo fi orchestra at diyelectromusic@makertube.net on peertube, it seems really cool. It's famous music reproduced using arduino controllers.

Money is a hygiene factor. It won't make you happy necessarily, but it doesn't hurt and not having it sure does hurt and will make you unhappy...

In the same way, nobody is going to be friends with you because you shower daily, but they'll definitely choose not to be friends with you because you don't shower...

I, for one, look forward to the patronising explanations of things to the public that seem to be designed for 4 year olds trapped in adult bodies.

"I'm going to become what's called the President. See, the president is like a boss for all the people in the country! So now I'm going to be the boss of all of you!"

George W. Bush will end up getting the last laugh, since he'll be remembered as only the second most mentally retarded president.

I know, it's frustrating when you're trying to find the truth and some people just say shit, then you look like you're nuts when you're just going with whatever information appears to be accurate as close to the event as possible.

That said, my point is more about the arbitrary nature of political violence so stands regardless of the truth of the news story.

So there'll be lots of riots against a system that killed him now, right?

right?

Other than the 30 pin port, people are acting like it's some sort of impossible achievement, but all phones used to have all of these things and they weren't impossible phones -- in fact, phones were way smaller back then.

"people aren't trusting the media!"

"Just force them to learn how trustworthy the media is in school! It'll work like DARE, which worked great!"

FWIW, most people aren't ok. There's a major mental health pandemic going on around the world which is one reason why things have been so insane lately. Part of the reason nobody's talking about it is that we've left behind all our previous allegorical knowledge on the cutting room floor because we decided we were wiser than the last million years of humans dealing with often similar issues.

Men are easier in this regard, most just want a load to haul. Give a man responsibility and a bit of credit and that's a huge thumbs up. Unfortunately, I can't say for sure what might help a woman feel better in general. If I had to guess, I'd say an IRL social network of people she can depend on.

Women are *allowed* to chase certain men, but they might find out that they don't like what happens next. When you put yourself out there, prepare to get rejected, especially if you're a superficial slag with no redeeming qualities chasing after a triple-6 man.

"I have found the man with six fingers. I am Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Dummies keep wanting unlimited government spending without realizing that giving unlimited spending without unlimited tax means slowly all tax dollars eventually just go to bankers.

"Oh God why are guys always looking at me they're such creeps I just want to be able to wear comfortable clothing"

And that doesn't always mean unrealistically high standards.

Tim Pool said it: someone was like "Israel should support a cease fire" and he goes "There was a cease fire. Then Palestine violated it."

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but that's a pretty good argument. If you walk up to someone and hit them, you can't just drop your fists and expect all violence to stop, this isn't an elder scrolls game.

Through the fog of war I don't know how much of the stuff alleged is true, but not a lot of it has to be for the whole idea that you just give a thumbs up and go "eh, it's ok boss" to be downright offensive.

It's another example of "speech is violence. Silence is violence. Violence is not violence."
