Advocate for freedom and tolerance even if you say things I do not like

Adversary of Fediblock

Accept that I'll probably say something you don't like and I'll give you the same benefit, and maybe we can find some truth about the world.

Ah... Is the Alliteration clever or stupid? Don't answer that, I sort of know the answer already...

I'm sure the conservatives will do the same when they get in power, but the level of just not answering questions month after month and year after year is incredible.

Sovereign immunity goes back hundreds of years and was brought over to US law from English common law, so it isn't like he's making some new thing up that's never existed before.

The consequence of removing sovereign immunity would be a gridlock of constant lawsuits and possible criminal charges over practically every decision.

Kinda culty, pretending she's an avatar for all women. Don't "trust me" because nobody trusts her, but as the avatar of women everywhere trust women and therefore trust her.

There's only ever been two prime ministers as far as I'm aware who have been so hated by the end of their term, and they're both named Trudeau.

I'm still pulling for winning the popular vote. It would be a complete repudiation of this clown show, and it needs it.

"noooo I don't want to be saved by Elon Musk!"

This year's cold is worse than covid, but they didn't shut down the globe, probably because Donald Trump isn't president.

If only British Columbia could bring its mighty diplomatic powers to bear on the Middle East, everything would be solved!

I wrote in a post yesterday at the Laurentian Leviathan sees the rest of the nation as nothing but a colonial holding to extract resources from and implement rules without any regard for the consequences.

Oh look. Another example.

Yes, I'm talking about western media. Other cultures have their own problems but often are still producing media worth consuming.

It's been a long time since 1999, but I distinctly remember having the reaction I mentioned.

Lol it could have even been a dumb reaction, it *was* 25 years ago.

IMO the world ended culturally in 2008, but a few good things managed to come out shortly afterwards because they hadn't gotten the memo yet.

I used to think it might be because I'm just getting older, but then I found a bunch of stuff I never knew about from the past that's good, and so it turns out I can find new stuff I like, I just don't like anything created recently.

Federated car forums be like:

There's one or two who are really decent, which is why I keep the feed going. Sometimes they do a great job covering court stuff, and sometimes they cover stuff like police overreach that doesn't show up in other feeds, but usually it's pretty obvious when you're reading one of the many articles that are just brain turned off.

I subscribe to reason in my RSS feed, and a lot of the authors unfortunately are disconnected from reality, I'm guessing from too much establishment media intake.

There are many things to attack Trump over (and on Wednesday I'll be posting my article that includes many of those things), but Reason doesn't seem to ever actually match with the things I see libertarians attacking Trump over, only what Democrats want us to be attacking Trump over.

Pokemon snap was one of the top betrayals in anime.

Hearing about an N64 Pokemon game everyone was thinking of doing Pokemon battles on their N64, instead it was some fukken camera game. It's like the Pokemon N64 game from wish.

D-d-d-debooonked!!

Preach it, trumpgpt!

Honestly, I do recall hearing about certain elections where the third parties made a difference even if they had no chance of winning. But let's say that your candidate managed to get 10% of the vote. It's a big thing to expect, but it is possible. At that point, both political parties will be paying very close attention to what they need to do to try to get some of that 10% of the vote, because that would be election-winning.
