> The magnetic field is proven. Spirituality is not.
Proven by humans, but not by birds. It is beyond their comprehension, yet they interact with it, and sense it, but they cannot describe it or prove it.
Some bird out there is insisting they can "feel a power beyond them" and next to them is a bird saying "you got a source for that?"

I've asked before and I'll ask again..
Why isn't there a single photo of Michelle Obama pregnant?

@NitroDubs @PraxisOfEvil @vic So many of these revolutionary technologies fall victim to the 90-90 rule of programming. Everyone always starts on the easiest parts of the project first, so fast progress is made and onlookers expect the technology to be completed in a timely fashion. The harsh reality sets in when the workers finally start working on the hard problems, and solutions either take exponentially more time or solutions aren't found at all. We've all lived through this with self-driving cars. They got 90% there by solving the easy problems first, and they've been stuck at that point ever since.
@PraxisOfEvil @vic I convinced myself nearly 20 years ago that I could be replaced by a vending machine. I haven't been replaced by one yet.
All of these technologies are "just around the corner" until they aren't. As proof just look at nuclear fusion. It's been "20-30 years away" for a half century.

@vic I'm reading lots of articles from places like Wired and Fortune where CEOs talk about replacing vast swaths of their workforces with AI, I don't know how that would work or what the implications of that would be, I feel like a luddite trying to comprehend this stuff, all I do know is that it's makes me feel uneasy
@PraxisOfEvil AI has gotta be more effecient when the only guardrails are "no Tienammen square no Winnie the Pooh" vs all the guardrails western AI have.
@Ghislaine well yeah, but most high profile school shooters are groomed by feds. the reason it doesn't happen like this anywhere else in the world is because nowhere else has a 2nd amendment that the authorities are trying to destroy.

It is believed that birds navigate when migrating partially by sensing the magnetic field of the earth.
Can they describe that? Can they understand the mechanics of the cross between biology and magnetic fields?
No, but they do sense it.
People often think about "spirituality" and "souls" as an idea or concept. But what if they are physically real, and we simply lack the mental capacity to understand the "how?"

Fun anecdote: The company where I work does most of its communications via WhatsApp. To this day, I refuse to install that app on my phone, and because of it, I'm incapable of creating an account (as they require a signup via app, including a phone number). In deference to my stubbornness, the company has changed how they message things like daily schedule and important announcements.
Presumably, someone higher up checked it out and realized that they're not legally allowed to require me to install something on my personal phone as a condition of employment.

Lots of people are saying this, and they're wrong.
The republicans have been telling you what they were forever. You just had been told that this was the best you were going to get, and to accept it.
Now that you know you can get something better, it feels that way.
Also put: "the 'RINO's aren't the "in name only" "

@Shadowman311 @TornadoOfTerror Apparently a lot of people didn't know this
