NATO is dead weight

cut em loose

there's a horde of leftist computer nerds with no insight into the IRS's systems desperately crafting theoretical explanations for why the database says millions of people age 130+ are receiving benefits

once again they are reduced to "it's not fraud it's super duper extreme incompetence" as their only defense

@YoungBlood

39 million invalid SSNs, and we can't dig into them? Good riddance to her getting out.

The acting head of the Social Security Administration (SSA) quit her job over the weekend after butting heads with the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), over efforts to access certain sensitive government records, according to reports.

The Washington Post reported that three people familiar with Michelle King’s departure said on Monday that she stepped down from her position after the disagreement.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in downtown Long Beach for a “Not My President” rally on Presidents Day
to protest the Trump administration and Elon Musk’s role in it.

Outside City Hall, protesters waved American and Mexican flags
and homemade signs with messages such as
“Impeach Trump,”
“Felon + Elon = Treason” and
“I’ve seen smarter cabinets at Ikea.”

What a shock. Musk gives himself a contract to fix what he broke. We are such hapless suckers. This country is just a humiliating place to live now.

This is all they have left - back to like 70s style sneering of "well you won't shake a black man's hand"

@Witch_Hunter_Siegfired I thought people were done with Marvel, I have to admit I'm surprised by this

HELL YEAH

> surrender their objectivity

Well, no.

A name change is not the same as redefining something against objective reality.

If the government changes the name, then objectively that I the new name. This is not the same as redefining something as something it is not.

It's a naming dispute.

Yeah, it kind of is that, but that is a totally different argument.

Pregnancy brain is real

This is like Bob changing his name legally to Chad.

It can, and does happen:

This is not redefining the thing by changing the name. That would be calling it something other than a gulf, which it is, and demanding that everyone accept that it is now a different geographical feature.

Analogy is wrong. It doesn't work.

Finally! More war!

Failed analogy.

It would work if they wanted to rename the gulf as "Mount America."
