@Eiswald They were shot because they both voted against their party by voting to remove free healthcare to illegal immigrants.

@magicalthinking NPR has a lot of listeners (and staff) that needed information about MPOX.

@Largo @NitroDubs That and intercepting a $1 million missile with a $10 million missile isn't such a great plan even if it works.

WMD again

@MitchellPlitnick Unfortunately, as much as I deride the Demonrats for their stance on War, I don't see Trump acting well this term so far. The Gaza genocide isn't stopped, the war between the Ukraine and Russia isn't stopped, and now I hear that 300 missiles were provided by the US so he seems to be backing the starting of yet another war.

Israel put a lot of faith into it's various anti-missile missile systems, faith that physics suggests was misplaced. Shooting down Hamas rockets made with iron plumbing pipe is much easier than shooting down actual ballistic missiles. The terminal velocity of a Cold War era Scud missile for example was 1.4 km/second (over 3,000 MPH, Mach 4+), and I have little doubt that the missiles that Iran launched tonight were faster than that. This makes for an extremely limited window in which to intercept a missile, particularly when they are coming in a large wave of dozens.

That any of these gets intercepted is impressive on a technical level, but they were never going to be a 100% effective system. A perfect system like this is likely impossible, no matter how much money or technology gets thrown at the problem.

Israeli leadership should have known inconvenient facts like these before striking Iran. It's probable that they did and thought the risk was worth the reward.

Will Rick eat his words yet again?! The footage of Tel Aviv suggests as much!

expect the next false flag to be really obvious bc what do they have to lose

There's another wave of ballistic missiles hitting Israel.

Probably more accurate to say, "the GOP doesn't align with Republican voters on this issue.."

Assad's regime collapsed out of nowhere. Seemed like he had it under control for years until he suddenly got rugpulled in like the span of a month.

I just paid cash directly to a local farmer for food.

Some in Federal Reserve paper bills and some in coin.

Interesting, the coins are not issued by the Federal Reserve, but instead by the US Treasury.

Coins are still fake money, in that they are no longer backed by anything. They are issued by a government institution that is supposed to be "of the people", where the Federal Reserve has no such responsibility.

Who among us could have forseen this betrayal?!?

@Java

Can confirm. X is really screwing over conservative accounts. I've been tracking it for a while.

Grok went super woke too a few months ago, and it's virtually unusable now.

It all started around the time the World Economic Forum replaced their leader, and the CEO of X is the Chairman of the Taskforce for Future Work for the WEF.

Might be related.

The key, is to ask yourself, "how am I being manipulated" before reading the news
