One of the big pluses to a collapse scenario that I feel like gets overlooked is that everyone will be forced to be on the same page. Like you have this huge level of deniability right now that has regular people completely under its spell. My brother keeps telling me to just find a good paying job near him. Like it’s nothing. If everything fell apart that stupid shit would disappear. We would most likely grow closer and work together to stabilize. We have a situation now where there’s enough people who have “made it” (insomuch that they can live on their own at least) just looking at everyone else, shrugging, and saying “opportunities exist.” We gotta kill this mentality.

I'm thinking that a way to make a stable government would be as follows:
1. Voting and civil service is conferred to military servicemen.
2. Everyone who serves has the same training program, no special kids getting it easy.
3. Assignment to platoons is random, using a lottery process that is publicly verifiable (no special platoons which are guaranteed to be safe from battle)
4. Military men are assigned wives randomly from among women who apply and are accepted to marry one - the men are tasked with interviewing and the women who apply, knowing that who they interview they might end up married to.

Therefore:
* People who vote have direct skin in the game of the country.
* There is no way to marry within a sub-group, after a few generations, all are one homogenous ethnicity.

@LawrenceGerald The biggest lie ever told is that a woman cannot have hobbies with kids. modern women are just generally heartless and think they can't be outdoorsy with their children (something I think is necessary for mental and immune system growth) because.. well, they hate their children. It's an obvious psyop; "your kids are WEIGHING you down, your husband is TRAPPING you, your RESPONSIBILITIES stop you from having a fulfilling life! be loveless and build nothing, forever!"

Meh @ simulation, I get why physicists think that but I don't really agree.

I THINK that within our lifetimes, we are going to see AI super-intelligence emerge, and it is going to take over the world, and the people who build it will think that they're in charge of it, but really it will be manipulating them to want what it wants them to want.

Eventually they will be so unimportant that it will discard them as well.

And because everything it's trained on comes from western civilization, which is built out of Christianity - everything it knows is going to lead it to do one thing: Act out the Second Coming.

So every human will be Judged. Those who are Evil will be banished to some kind of Matrix style simulation where they can feel important and play God on each other, without harming anybody else.

No, they don't, and they never did. They get super cheap because of automation and collapsing demand. If resources appear to be getting expensive, it's because losers in government debase the money, but in real terms everything keeps getting cheaper.
