it's.... food. they're just describing food. ground beef, rice and egg done in large batches for meal prep. that's just.... cooking food, like normal humans do. like a casserole is not a food hack, it's just... cooking.

i wonder if this is a sidelong glance at trying to shame younger men back into eating out all the time since so many are stopping because it's not affordable or even remotely worth it.

Back in 2019, this house was at $99.4k before the vid and the money printing. Has the salary at the small company he mentioned doubled since then? I don’t know anyone’s that has, certainly not mine. The house is also 176 years old with all the problems that brings besides the crazy plywood floor and the cold weather in NH.

a lot of people are dunking on people like this, but I've been thinking about it for a bit and I think ultimately these people are doing this because they are trying to prove to themselves that they didn't destroy the american dream - that you can still buy a house, find a wife, have kids and settle down.
