Does this count as something happening?

> Nothing is forever. It will centuries to clean up this mess.

Probably. Well said.

Reminds me of this quote from Lee..

i want a benevolent king who actually cares about his land and people

@threalist @wrathofgnon i meant they would suffer from people who could build their own houses. Every dollar you don't borrow is ten bucks the bankers don't make. Stupid, oversized, overpriced houses make stupid, oversized, overpriced mortgages.

The consequence would have to beither an inflation in the costs of building materials and land (even more than now), or damage to the financial sector.

@Sovereign

which is probably why macgregor is right, and that there won't be a land invasion. i think the higher ups are telling trump that behind the scenes. what would we even attack? kharg island? then what? this whole operation is idiotic.

> then the financial markets would suffer

The financial markets would suffer from lack of war?

Man, you might be right bit that is bleak.

Weird how we've all seen the terminator, but seemingly nothing can be done to stop the train..

Europe: Doesn't have "magic dirt" citizenship.
Also Europe: *Imports browns by the millions*

Imagine if America put it's resources into this kind of thing instead of foreign wars..

It wouldn't be difficult to set up a small building crafts school to teach young couples how to build their own homes. Programs to fund students exist almost everywhere in the world. The materials are not expensive. There is ample lands. Why not let your municipality become the first to give young citizens a chance to start a new life debt free?

They're making it up.

INSANE. Maryland House passed a bill PROHIBITING schools from separating sports and facilities based on biological sex.

Every single Democrat voted for it.
