I thought we were a free people, and we could make choices for what is done to our own bodies. We should be free to take or not to take a drug based on our own situation, our own beliefs, our own predictions of the future.

@wjmaggos @bitterrealist I'm not espousing a libertarian view, I'm espousing a liberal view. Unfortunately, liberals have been coopted by the industrial complex and just say whatever the 5 biggest megacorps on the planet tell them to.
There's a lot of things that are straight-up true. It's true that we've been lied to. Dr. Fauci himself claimed that masks don't do anything, then later on he told us he lied because he didn't want normies stealing medical supplies. That's on the congressional record, that's a fact. It's also true that vaccines don't get tested in the amount of time that this one has even existed so far. Everyone was saying that vaccines take years to make and that Trump was lying when he said there'd be a vaccine by November and there was. Do you know how Project Warpspeed got the vaccine so fast? It cut the required testing. It takes 9 months to make a baby no matter how many women you have and it takes a long term to do a long term trial no matter how many people you have.
I keep on coming back to Thalidomide and DDT. Both advertised as so safe. Now banned because they're not.
Are covid vaccines thalidomide? Dunno. Maybe. Probably not. You know what's neat though? If it turns out to be thalidomide, the companies that made them have government-granted blanket immunity so they'll get away scott-free with amounts of money you can't even imagine -- billions and billions of dollars.
