@ThomasWic The thing that needs to happen is the next step (and I don't know if it happens in the next 3 years) -- stagflation, increasing interest rates, plummeting government services and skyrocketing taxes. My generation needs to feel the pain of the consequences of what we're asking for. Otherwise we'll keep asking for someone else to give us everything on a silver platter.
@WiseNana @ThomasWic A lot of people didn't, but enough people did and loudly enough that the federal debt is sitting at 28 trillion dollars with no hint of slowing and almost every politician is talking about all the money they're going to spend on your behalf.

@WiseNana @ThomasWic Lots of folks will get something they didn't ask for and don't deserve, but there's also a lot of people who have been clamouring for the crap on a silver platter. Unfortunately, it seems that without the upcoming pain they won't stop.
The only thing we can do as individuals is learn from history and prepare so we can come out ahead.
