@jeffcliff @bebe @cowanon It's possible to believe in protecting the environment, but most people who sell "green" do not. They are part of the environmental industrial complex, and their job is to package up the idea of environmentalism to make massive profits and often massively harm the environment.
Unfortunately, it's happening with every popular cause. It's easier to turn something positive into something evil but money making than it is to make permanent positive change in the world. :(

@jeffcliff @bebe @cowanon The motivated minority is always going to be more powerful than the unmotivated majority, particularly when they can sell their crap to the majority and make them feel better about themselves at the same time
