@jeffcliff it always had to be this way. ERs on the prairies were a hellscape before there was ever a virus. The decision to have overloaded ERs was made before any of this happened.
@jeffcliff Not even during the pandemic. Long before that they set their priorities. I remember having a car accident in Winnipeg with a woman who was on blood thinners, and after 6 hours in the emergency room they said it was going to be at least another 4 hours, there was no pandemic going on, that's just how they ran. At that point, we left because if she was going to die she would have died already.
