They'll never win as long as they're chasing the left. The conservatives need principles that stand independently of what the other guys are doing, because that's exactly like hey the other guys are doing.

The great news is that the left gave up some amazing ground. They gave up freedom of speech. They gave up equality. They gave up tolerance. With these being far-right nazi values, I say we embrace being a far right nazi because I still believe in freedom, I still believe in equality, I still believe in tolerance ane that's a great base to cause a blue wave.

@pensees frankly, I think besides trying to primary out rinos in the us, the best chance is to vote for a third party. The big parties pretend those votes don't bother them but they see those votes and say "if only we had those votes we could have won!"

Yes, it means the folks you don't like win in the short term, but if the folks opposing them are basically more of the same it doesn't matter who wins or loses.

@pensees thing about this strategy is you don't need to win, you just need to put a carrot in front of the right.

In the recent election the PPC got 5.1% of the vote, didn't win a single seat. The conservatives are furious, but they aren't stupid -- theyre looking at those votes saying "what do I need to do to get those votes?"
