@djsumdog @mrmcmayhem you probably want to find a hard asset that's somewhat liquid rather than cash. High inflation could mean by the time it's time to invest the real value of your money has been sucked away. Part of the stock market bubble is being caused by the rich putting their money into stocks as an inflation hedge.
If hyperinflation happens, bonds will be where it's at, a license to print money since interest rates will have to hit double digits to chill the inflation and keep the banks from going under. It'll hurt everyone but anyone who buys those bonds is on East Street
