As opposed to being silenced arbitrarily because some random person decides they don't agree with you. I specifically leave spaces like that.
I see what posts people report. Shameful, but not for those reported.
Sometimes people you don't like says something you don't like. You don't have to like it or endorse it, you just have to tolerate it.
Or not, but I've lived under that sort of tyranny, walking on eggshells all the time. I refuse. I can tolerate people who don't say things I agree with, but I can't tolerate living with a boot on my neck.
That's not the Internet I grew up with.
If I wanted to live like that, I could go crawling back to big tech where people who think they know better than me can ensure I only say things that are doubleplus good.
