I've found a lot of articles in sources I have no real reason to trust, but you'd think this would be on the front page of every newspaper if it was true, since it'd be a world paradigm shift.
They're claiming they've found almost twice as much gold as the human race has ever mined through history, in one shot.
World class gold mines can get 15 tons per year of gold at great effort and expense, and such huge reserves at one mine would imply that this one mine would effectively shut down all of them by putting out an order of magnitude more gold than the entire gold industry.
It's possible, but it's an extraordinary claim.
