It's important I think to recognise that a lot of the crazy stuff out there may be earmarked by leftists, but it doesn't mean that leftism doesn't have good ideas.
Obviously according to der fuhrer I'm a racist sexist misogynistic homophobic transphobic American Russian Republican far right radical, but back in my day, trusting the world's largest corporations was considered a right wing proposition, and opposing the largest political ideology in the world that is supported by every establishment power on the planet would put you squarely in the left wing.
