The GWB sort of neocon ideology is totally unelectable, no wonder there's democrat funded groups that want to push it. After he was done as president, the Democrats had a firm lead in both houses of congress, I think a supermajority in one house, the presidency, and the supreme court.
The fact that the Democrats are embracing GWB (recall that Biden was gleefully talking about how much GWB and his cronies support him during the debates) I think speaks to the fact that the Democratic party is about to have a similar collapse, and what I'm optimistic about is that they'll need to go back to the drawing board and find a strategy that actually works for most people.
