There's a show from the 90s called 'first wave' that I always thought was funny that was like this. Everyone is being difficult and he always just goes "you have to belieeeeeeve me! Aaaaaaliens are taking over the planet" and everyone believes him and they foil the aliens plans.
Even as a little kid I thought that was hilarious and pretty unrealistic.
