There's "more jobs than there are workers to accept them according to the government", of course there are! There's enough jobs for every person on Earth if you just don't pay a market rate for anyone! I could use a full-time gardener and butler and cook and maid and chauffeur, if I only have to pay each one a dollar an hour!

Lots of the trades. Specifically I've head lots of stories for example of carpenters who peaked around 40 bucks an hour who get much less since then.
