Are you sure you like all diversity? Usually "diversity" is actually a code for a very specific subset of diversity, and to understand that is to begin to understand why others may be against diversity.

Many people who would like to see people of all sorts of skin color and sexuality and gender expression walking down the street would be pretty upset seeing a maga hat, or a nazi flag, or a confederate flag, or a straight pride parade, or a white pride parade. To varying degrees, these things might be seen as morally reprehensible and that tolerating them is a moral failing.

There are plenty of forms of diversity that most people who advocate for diversity would like to go away. The diversity of viewpoints on diversity is the most obvious. Then there's a diversity of cultures regarding women being objects, a diversity of cultures regarding female genital mutilation, a diversity of cultures regarding honor killing, a diversity of cultures regarding religious zealotry, a diversity of cultures regarding bigotry. People who advocate for diversity would likely like all these specific forms of diversity to go away and instead a more unified world around common values in these regards would be a moral good.

Most calls for diversity don't include incels in that call. Most calls for diversity don't include diversity with respect to human sacrifices, or diversity with respect to slavery, or diversity with respect to caste systems. A world that has common values in these regards is considered a more just world.

For some people, it's just easy to put everyone with certain characteristics into a certain group using mental heuristics. Skin color, or religion, or accent, or sexual orientation, or gender identity. But that's not the only heuristic people use. Up above I put "maga hat" next to "nazi flag", and for a lot of people that's totally acceptable, despite the fact that the former might just want factory jobs to return to the US so they can have work, and the latter might want racial purity and genocide. (but maybe not! Who really knows what symbols mean to people. Meaning from symbols is something that's diverse as well!)

Once you understand that, you may not agree with other people who don't believe the same as you, but it becomes easier to understand them at least.
