20 days of supply isn't 20 days until the end of the world. You can have 20 days supply forever as long as you're making one day's supply per day.

That's true, which is one of the reasons for the massive supply chain issues -- Everything relied on JIT inventory systems so any hiccup took out entire production chains. Normally doesn't happen, but we haven't had a normal few years.
