Do you ever think that the reason it's primarily men who push war and violence is because they don't give birth? They don't understand the value of life and what it takes to bring it into the world?

Just read a story of a gang who stole and murdered a child because they wanted money. That question went through my head after.

@LisbonMuse they don't understand the value of life? yet women have abortions

@Sexypink Lol here's the phrase, not all men. No, not even most men. Just like most women don't have abortions. But when taking a life or sacrificing a life is involved, it's primarily done by a man. I just wish there were stats on men who do these kinds of crimes, and if they're fathers, how involved they were in fatherhood and the birth.

Like now, a leader will send troops on a suicide mission. Would he have thought more about those men's lives if he knew all it took to bring that life up? Is this why women aren't the primary people doing this, or would we do it too if we were primarily in power?

@LisbonMuse @Sexypink it's usually men actually doing it, but in a democracy, it's at the behest of society, which includes both men and women. Even if we assume men are more warhawkish overall, it'd be something like 60:40 men, not 95:5 men.

@Marvin @LisbonMuse @Sexypink That's fair. ✅

@Marvin @Sexypink Yes I get what you're saying. In history, I always viewed the best kings as the ones fighting along with their men. It meant they really believed in what they were doing. Or the ones who tried to avoid sending their troops out in a pointless offensive. But to the others who sat at home and were so liberal with lives? I just wonder how much they were involved in fatherhood.

@Sexypink @LisbonMuse women understand the value of their own lives as well. Clearly you don't. Fuck off slaver.

@TheWitchBitch @Sexypink Abortion is a really easy topic to go to for something like this. He probably had a kneejerk reaction to thinking I was saying all men are violent and don't value life. Abortion is something men have never done or would ever have to consider doing. There's no stats on if men get more abortions than women, etc. Nothing to compare. So it's a good go-to when trying to compare men's statistical violence over women's abortion rates, even though those two aren't comparable. You should either compare men's violent stats versus women's, or abortion stats which you can't do since men can't get pregnant. I guess you could compare the amount of men who want abortions versus women, but still that's just a derail of my subject.

But if he does want to compare, if I had miscarried my son at five months, I would have been heartbroken. If I lost him five months out of the womb...well I can't even think about that. It's just shattering. Giving birth is intense, and then seeing the little being that had been in you actually real and there, it makes it all real. Like he has a real personality, versus the one I gave him in the womb. It just feels silly to bring up abortion on the subject of men killing others, but like I said, probably a kneejerk reaction.

@Sexypink @LisbonMuse Yup men going around maiming and killing, making war, torturing and raping everything and each other is exactly the same as the difficult choice a woman makes to end a pregnancy! 🤡

Are you suffering from mass formation psychosis?

@LisbonMuse @TheWitchBitch @Sexypink If we have to compare abortion to any sort of violence or killing men do, it'd have to be self-defense, at most.
