Some people mistakenly think wokeness is being a liberal 15 years ago, to have positive opinions on atheism, gun control, abortion, treating people well regardless of their race, creed, color, sex, or sexual orientation. This is wrong.
Wokeness is different. It's religious, irrational, histrionic, authoritarian, violent, colonial. It's a hateful ideology -- I've never seen people express more visceral hatred than using that ideological framework. It relies on deeply offensive stereotypes and is itself absurdly white supremacist -- just look at their insane racist definitions of whiteness, they think any examples of self control are monopolized by white people!
Many people have center left or left wing opinions but don't like wokeness. People who voted democrats enthusiastically. People of all races, creeds, and colors.
The point of wokeness isn't about it's alleged beneficiaries. It's about power, using those people as pawns. The alleged beneficiaries are solely being used as pawns in a chess game. You can tell because the moment the black person or the gay person or the woman isn't an ideological ally, they're no longer a beneficiary. Black conservative is attacked by a white man? Serves em right for not being part of the ideology. Contrast this with liberal ideology, where the old ACLU defending literal 1945 Nazis despite vehemently disagreeing with them because principles apply to people you agree with or not.
