I always get a kick out of it seeing naive people who have just joined the fediverse proclaiming that defederation will make the defederated alone and miserable.

Meanwhile the defederated seem to have the most fun, being free of the need to walk on eggshells to please some puritan who has proclaimed themselves the moral authority for earth.
