Honestly, the whole point of Libre fediverse is that individual instance operators can decide how they want to moderate their instances. As long as they are reasonably making their decisions in good faith based on something real, that's just the system working as intended. In this way, people can choose the community that vibes the best with them. Some people want to be somewhere more heavily moderated where they're not going to see stuff that upsets them, other people want to have the whole water hose. As long as all the users understand that they do have a choice, then that makes it a meaningful choice and unlike under big tech, different types of users don't need to take over the platform to get their way, everyone can run their community the way they want to.
That being the case, I strongly oppose the fediblock list because it's stupid. Literally mindless. Like any random person just shouts an order and some people mindlessly follow it. Never made any decisions for themselves, someone (who? Who cares I'm sure they're the good guys) somewhere ordered them to do a thing and they mindlessly did it.
If such people are going to be following any commands they hear, I decided that they should follow mine. And so I added myself to the list.
