In fact, if you'll look, you'll find that one of their sources is the Israeli government. So it is probably true. People generally don't say things unless they are either true or false but make them look good.

Concerning the war, I'm avoiding weighing in on it too much while I learn about it. But I thought that website was safe because it quotes the Israeli government, and - as a general rule - no one says bad things about themselves unless they are true.
They didn't choose to fight for it though. That may not completely absolve them of guilt depending on the consequences for disobediance, but it needs to be taken into account.
No, I don’t think so. When you punish an entire collective for the crimes of a fraction of them, it is certain that you will punish an innocent. When you punish someone who has a less than 100% likelihood of commiting the crime, you have a chance of punishing an innocent. Those are not the same thing.
