One thing that a lot of more recent people in GPL projects really can't stand is the fact that free software means people can do with free software whatever they like, and it's no longer your job to police them (outside of ensuring they comply with the license).

People you like can use the software. People you don't like can use the software. People can use the software to do things you like. People can use the software to do things you don't like. It's no longer your business, and it shouldn't be -- Too many people think they're entitled to stick a finger into your computer, and also that they're entitled to stick a finger into the way you live your life.
