On this page you can browse all regional and long-distance waymarked #hiking trails based on #OpenStreetMap.

It is possible to view and download tracks in GPX and KML format in in order to use them for navigation and editing.

For many trails, there are references to their respective websites with descriptions, pictures and other material.

I just found out that official #hiking trails incl. reference URLs are already included in #OSMAnd.

Thus, if you do not need to edit the tracks, it is not necessary to download and transfer them to the android device.

What I would like to see is a possibility to like or dislike a trail, and to add difficulty ratings, hints and photos.

@markojahnke bin übrigens auch großer Fan von @organicmaps - aber das mit den Wanderrouten gibt es dort meiner Ansicht nicht
